Arco and Sarca valley

Climbing resort (and not only) now famous all over the world, Arco and the Sarca valley belong to the “historic” climbing destinations for temperate climates in mid-seasons. Calanques, Finale Ligure, Verdon, Paklenica, Sardinia are some of the parallel destinations for fans of the genre. In the Sarca valley there are more than a thousand multipitch routes, up to 1200m long. There’s something to suit everybody’s fancy: from short easy-to-reach plaisir routes to the classic ones, terrain of great adventure, ending with sport climbing ones. It must be said that in principle, the most beautiful routes generally are the classics from the 80s/90s.

Climbing in the Sarca valley is perfect both as a first experience and as a training to get closer to mountain climbing routes.
